What a beautiful day at Ruby Beach

We drove up to Ruby Beach Sunday and it was absolutely beautiful. I just wish our grand-daughters could have been with us. There were dolphins swimming off shore in the surf, lots of sea creators such a hermit crabs, starfish, sea anemones and the greatest rocks for making carins.

I have been busy this spring and summer. I spent almost two month in Denver with my son and is family, then off to California to move my sister-in-law. My mom and I reupholstered a chair, I painted a sideboard, then I painted my two adirondack chairs and table. I have paint to redo our bathroom, curtains fabric for the living and dinning room as well as fabric for a new bed cover. Lots of projects, but I am out of steam.

We drove around today and I can't believe the water levels from the last storm. There are so many mudslides and down trees everywhere. The Deschutes River which is pictured is still running pretty fast.

Fall In the Northwest

We went and picked out our pumpkins Friday. There were some many pumpkins to choose from, but we found the perfect ones. Just can't wait to carve my pumpkin.
